The Garden Gate has four graciously appointed guest rooms with furnishings chosen
for your comfort, and decorations to lighten your spirit. Our rooms have top-of-the-
line mattresses for a comfortable sleeping experience. Each room offers satellite TV, air
conditioning, telephone, ceiling fan, high quality linens, extra blankets, pillows and
towels, iron and board, hair blower, a variety of toiletries, a wakeup-clock and reading
lamps. We offer WIFI for internet access through your laptop computer. Detachable
shower heads are available in our bathtub and shower combinations and our soap is
made especially for the Garden Gate. Current magazines are on hand for your reading
pleasure.
2008 Room Rates
Our rates range from $ 85 to $120, plus tax, depending upon the season. A multi-night discount is available.
Reservation Specifics
A $50 deposit is required at time of booking. We have
a 3 day cancellation policy. If you must cancel, your
deposit is cheerfully refunded outside the 3 day
window, less $10 administration fee. Inside the window,
you will be charged in full for all days booked, unless
we can resell the room.
Check in time is 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., and if you are
going to be later, that is fine, but please let us
know. No check in after 11:00 p.m. please. Morning
check out is by 10:30.
We confirm all reservations by email or surface letter and we safeguard your personal information.
We accept Visa, Master Card, cash, or travelers'
checks.
Smokers may smoke anywhere outside our home. No
smoking is permitted inside.
Our Rooms
All rooms are priced the same.
The OLD SOUTH ROOM is on the second floor. It
recalls a time when gracious hospitality in lovely old
homes was a way of life. This room has two single beds,
ensuite bath and three lovely windows.
The SERENITY ROOM, decorated in peaceful
greens, is on the second floor and has three
windows, a queen bed, and ensuite bath.
The SUNSHINE ROOM is on the third floor. Let
yourself be enveloped by the sense of light coming
through the oversized window. It has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom.
The SEASIDE ROOM is on the third floor. It is our largest room with a queen bed. The private bath with single whirlpool tub and overhead shower is situated outside the room.
